Dortmund-Hörde station
Listed Building
Dortmund-Scharnhorst station sits on the alignment of the historic Köln-Mindener Eisenbahn, one of Germany's oldest long-distance rail lines, between the districts of Alt-Scharnhorst and Brackel. The station building dates from 1928, a typical example of Weimar-era railway construction. Today it is served hourly by the Rhein-Emscher-Express and every two hours by the NRW-Express, offering connections to Hamm, Düsseldorf, Cologne, and Aachen.
