Gobō Station

Gobō Station sits on the western coast of the Kii Peninsula in Wakayama Prefecture and has been in operation since 1929. It is jointly run by JR West, serving the Kisei Line, and the private Kishū Tetsudō railway, which uses it as the terminus of a short narrow-gauge branch. Beyond its role as the main rail access point for the city of Gobō, the station holds no particular touristic or architectural distinction.
