Guben railway station

Guben station is an island platform junction where the Berlin–Frankfurt (Oder)–Wrocław line crosses the Cottbus–Zbąszynek route. The station building is a listed architectural monument in the state of Brandenburg. Its history reflects the town's divided border geography — Guben sits directly on the Neisse river facing the Polish town of Gubin — and for decades only the Frankfurt (Oder)–Cottbus service operated here. Cross-border passenger rail to Zbąszynek was only restored in 2022.
