Itō Station

Itō Station is a railway stop in the city of Itō, Shizuoka Prefecture, on the island of Honshū, opened in 1938 during the Shōwa period. It is jointly operated by JR East and the Izu Kyūkō railway, functioning as the terminus of JR's Itō Line and the gateway for onward travel along the Izu Peninsula. For most visitors it serves as a transfer point toward the peninsula's coastal resort towns rather than a destination in itself.
