Odawara Station

Odawara Station in Kanagawa Prefecture is one of the region's most important rail junctions, served by five separate operators: JR East, JR Central, Odakyū Dentetsu, Hakone Tozan Tetsudō, and Izuhakone Tetsudō. Founded in 1920 during the Taishō era, it has grown into a busy interchange point. Shinkansen services on the Tōkaidō Line stop here, making it a convenient gateway for day trips toward Hakone. For most visitors it functions primarily as a transfer hub rather than a destination in its own right.
