Kiryū Station

Kiryū Station sits in Kiryū city, Gunma Prefecture, and has been in operation since 1888, making it one of the older stations in the eastern Kantō region. It is jointly operated by JR East and the Watarase Keikoku Railway, the latter running a scenic narrow-gauge line through the forested Watarase Valley. For most visitors it functions as a transfer point rather than a destination in its own right.
