Kitami Station

Kitami Station is the main rail stop in the city of Kitami in Hokkaido's Okhotsk Subprefecture, opened in 1911 during the Meiji era. It sits on the JR Hokkaido Sekihoku Main Line connecting Asahikawa to Abashiri along Hokkaido's northeastern corridor. The station functions primarily as a transit point for travelers heading into the Okhotsk region, with limited touristic draw beyond its role as a local hub.
