Kutchan Station
Kutchan Station is a regional rail stop on the Japanese island of Hokkaido, located in the town of Kutchan in the Shiribeshi subprefecture. Opened in 1904 during the Meiji era, it has served as a local transit hub ever since and is today best known as a gateway for visitors heading to the nearby Niseko ski resort. From 2031, the station is slated to join Japan's Shinkansen high-speed rail network, a connection expected to significantly increase the region's accessibility.
