Niebüll station

Niebüll station opened on 15 November 1887 under the Schleswig-Holstein Marschbahn company and remains the most significant rail junction in the North Frisian region. It is the point where the branch line to Tønder in Denmark diverges from the Elmshorn–Westerland main line, making it a transfer hub for travelers heading to Sylt or southern Denmark. Beyond its functional role as a connection point, the station holds little additional tourist or cultural significance.
