Uraga Station

Uraga Station is a stop on the private Keikyū railway line in Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture, on the Japanese island of Honshū. Opened in 1930 during the early Shōwa era, it serves primarily as a commuter station for the southern Greater Tokyo area. The surrounding area of Uraga carries notable historical weight as the anchorage where US Commodore Matthew Perry arrived in 1853, but the station itself has no documented architectural or cultural distinctions beyond its functional role.
