Utsunomiya Station

Utsunomiya Station is a major JR East rail hub in Tochigi Prefecture on the island of Honshū, first opened in 1885 during the Meiji era. It serves as one of the more significant transit nodes in northern Kantō, with Shinkansen bullet trains stopping here alongside regular regional services, linking the city to Tokyo and destinations further north. Primarily functional infrastructure, it acts as a gateway for travelers heading into the surrounding Tochigi region rather than a destination in its own right.
