Wetzlar station

Wetzlar station is a wedge junction where the Lahntalbahn and Dillstrecke railway lines diverge. Unusually for this track configuration, the station building sits not in the wedge between the two lines but laterally alongside the Lahntalbahn platforms — a relatively rare arrangement among German junction stations. Together with the adjacent central bus terminal, it serves as the main public transport hub for the city of Wetzlar.
