Baitul Huda Mosque
Frankfurt
The Bait ul-Ghafur Mosque in Frankfurt am Main is a place of worship belonging to the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat, an Islamic reform movement founded in 1889 in British India. Built in 2011, it is part of the 100 Mosques Project initiated in 1989 by Khalifat ul-Masih IV to provide the growing Ahmadiyya community in Germany with local spaces for prayer and congregation. The Ahmadiyya movement is notable within Islam for its emphasis on non-violence and interfaith dialogue, principles that often find expression in open-mosque events at its German congregations.
