Baldenweger Buck

The Baldenweger Buck is a 1,460.5-metre subsidiary summit of the Feldberg massif in Germany's southern Black Forest, sitting roughly 900 metres northeast of the main peak. Part of Baden-Württemberg's highest upland nature reserve, the area is characterised by open high-altitude meadows and spruce woodland typical of the southern Schwarzwald. The summit sees far less foot traffic than the busy Feldberg top, making it a quieter option for hikers based in Todtnau — clear days reward walkers with open views across the Rhine plain toward the Vosges.
