Abtsrodaer Kuppe

Abtsrodaer Kuppe is a secondary summit of the Wasserkuppe — the Rhön's highest peak — rising to 904.8 metres above sea level near the village of Abtsroda in the Hessian district of Fulda. The rounded hilltop is typical of the Rhön's open, treeless upland character, offering unobstructed views across the gently rolling mid-mountain landscape. The ascent is short and manageable for most walkers, making it a quiet starting point for onward hikes toward the Wasserkuppe itself.
