TC Energy Center

The Bank of America Center — now officially known as TC Energy Center — is a 238-meter postmodern skyscraper in downtown Houston, completed in 1983. Designed by Philip Johnson and John Burgee, the brown sandstone-clad tower is distinguished by a series of setbacks that narrow the floorplate as it rises, culminating in a stepped crown that makes it visually distinct on the Houston skyline. At 56 stories and roughly 1.4 million square feet of office space, it ranks as the fourth-tallest building in the city. The tower is a purely commercial office building with no public observation deck or visitor attractions.
