1250 René-Lévesque

1250 René-Lévesque is a postmodern glass skyscraper in Montreal's Ville-Marie borough, completed in 1992 and standing 199 metres tall — the second-highest building in the city. Its name is simply its street address on the boulevard named after Quebec premier René Lévesque. The building's stepped upper floors and curtain-wall facade make it a recognizable element of downtown Montreal's skyline alongside nearby towers. It functions as a commercial office building with no public observation deck or visitor amenities.
