Barons Court

Barons Court is an above-ground London Underground station on Talgarth Road in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, served by both the District and Piccadilly lines. The station building is a Grade II listed structure in the Art Nouveau style, part of the series of surface-level station facades designed by architect Leslie Green in the early 1900s — identifiable by their ox-blood red terracotta tiling and rounded upper windows. With around 7.5 million passengers in 2014, it functions as a busy zone-2 interchange, though its listed streetfront offers a quieter moment of Edwardian transit architecture amid the surrounding residential streets.
