Alperton

Alperton is an above-ground London Underground station on the Piccadilly Line, located in the London Borough of Brent in Travelcard Zone 4. Opened in 1903, it sits at the junction of Bridgewater Road and Ealing Road, in a largely residential neighbourhood with a strong South Asian community. Handling around 2.96 million passengers in 2013, it functions primarily as a local commuter stop with no significant tourist draw. The Grand Union Canal runs nearby, offering a brief walk along the towpath.
