Acton Town

Acton Town is an above-ground London Underground station in the London Borough of Ealing, served by the District and Piccadilly lines in Travelcard Zone 3. The station building dates from the interwar period and was designed by Charles Holden, the architect responsible for many of the Tube's signature 1930s stations. Its compact Art Déco brick facade with geometric detailing is Grade II listed, recognising its architectural significance within Holden's broader Piccadilly line station programme. For most passengers it functions as an interchange point; for architecture enthusiasts it represents a well-preserved example of modernist public transit design.
