Belveder

The Belveder near Drasenhofen is part of the sprawling Lednice-Valtice cultural landscape, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996 straddling the Czech, Austrian, and Slovak borders. The historic castle structure sits within a designed park and served the Liechtenstein princely family as a lookout retreat and hunting lodge. Though administratively on the Austrian side, it is functionally and touristically tied to the Czech core of the ensemble, with the main visitor infrastructure managed from the Czech Republic.
