Beyazıt Tower

The 85-metre Beyazit Tower has served since 1749 as a fire watchtower and signal tower for maritime traffic on the Golden Horn. Today on the campus of Istanbul University, with its characteristic classical Ottoman silhouette in the heart of the old city.
