Boston North Station

North Station is Boston's primary northern commuter rail terminal, tucked beneath the TD Garden arena on Causeway Street. MBTA commuter trains depart from street-level platforms to Lowell, Fitchburg, Newburyport, Rockport, and Haverhill, while Amtrak's Downeaster service connects the city to Portland, Maine. The Green and Orange subway lines intersect below, making it one of the busiest transit interchanges in Boston.
