Bounds Green

Bounds Green is a deep-level Piccadilly Line station in the London Borough of Haringey, straddling the boundary of Travelcard zones 3 and 4. Its surface building was designed in the early 1930s by Charles Holden, the architect responsible for the cohesive modernist brick language of the entire northern Piccadilly Line extension — circular lantern towers, clean geometric forms, and restrained detailing that set a benchmark for transit architecture. That pedigree earned the building Grade II listed status. For most of its six million annual users, however, it is simply a reliable commuter stop for the surrounding residential neighbourhood.
