Canada Water is a two-level underground interchange station in the London Borough of Southwark, opened in 1999. The Jubilee Line runs on the lower level while the East London Line — now London Overground — occupies the upper, making it one of the busiest rail junctions south of the Thames with over 22 million combined journeys recorded in 2014 alone. The station is fully step-free throughout and sits in Travelcard Zone 2. It also acts as the gateway to the surrounding Canada Water regeneration zone, one of London's largest ongoing mixed-use redevelopment projects.
