General Highway 1

The CG 1 is Andorra's primary road link to Spain. Opened in 1913 and stretching 11.2 kilometres, it connects the capital Andorra la Vella with Sant Julià de Lòria and the Spanish border crossing. As the principality's first long-distance paved road it represents an early milestone in Andorra's motorised connectivity, but holds no further cultural or tourist significance.
