Carretera Histórica Guayama - Cayey

The Cayey Bridge, officially known as Puente de Cayey, is an 1891 iron lateral lattice girder bridge carrying Puerto Rico Highway 15 over the Guamaní River. Despite its name, it sits geographically closer to Guayama than to Cayey — a longstanding misnomer that has followed the structure since construction. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it represents one of the few surviving 19th-century iron truss bridges on the island and remains in active road use today.
