Grider Field

Grider Field — officially Pine Bluff Regional Airport — is an 850-acre municipal airport in White Hall, Arkansas, with roots in the early years of World War II. Established in 1941 as a U.S. Army flight training school operated by the Pine Bluff School of Aviation, it was named for J. McGavock Grider, an American World War I aviator from Arkansas. After the war, the city converted it into a civilian facility. It remains the only ILS-equipped, jet-capable airport in southeast Arkansas, hosting corporate hangars, fixed-base operators, and FAA weather monitoring equipment. An on-site aviation museum preserves the airfield's military training legacy.
