Canada Aviation and Space Museum

Located on the grounds of the former Ottawa-Rockcliffe military airfield, the Canada Aviation and Space Museum is the country's foremost institution dedicated to the history of flight and space exploration. Its collection of over 130 aircraft spans from early 20th-century biplanes through World War II fighters to modern spacecraft components, placing Canadian aviation milestones within a broader international narrative. Founded in 1964 and operated by Ingenium, Canada's national science and technology museum network, the facility occupies vast hangar structures that themselves echo the airfield's military past. Open Thursday through Monday, 9 am to 5 pm, with full wheelchair accessibility.
