Also known as: Hotel Concorde La Fayette
137-metre hotel tower from 1974 at Porte Maillot in the 17th arrondissement, sitting right above the Boulevard Peripherique ring road. It was part of the early 1970s plan to push office and hotel high-rises to the edge of central Paris; until 2011, when it was still called the Concorde La Fayette, its 950 rooms made it one of the largest hotels in Europe. Since 2013 it has operated as the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile. The Windo bar on the 34th floor offers a 360-degree view from Sacre-Coeur to the Eiffel Tower to La Defense; entry is free, drinks from fifteen euros upwards.
