İBB Balat Parkı

İBB Balat Parkı is a small municipal green space on the Golden Horn waterfront, tucked into Istanbul's historic Balat district. Managed by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, it offers benches, walking paths, a children's playground, and a mooring area with small boats bobbing at the water's edge. The park is most peaceful on weekday mornings and draws locals for picnics and sunset-watching over the Golden Horn. It works well as a brief rest stop after exploring Balat's colorful alleyways and crumbling facades, though the facilities remain basic with little to occupy visitors for more than 30–40 minutes.
