Mariä Geburt

The parish church of Mariä Geburt is a neogothic pilgrimage church in the historic core of Höchberg, a western suburb of Würzburg. Its current form dates to a 1909 renovation and expansion, carried out in the historicist neogothic style typical of late Wilhelmine church architecture. The prominent tower visually anchors the old village center and remains the defining feature of Höchberg's skyline. As a pilgrimage church, it draws worshippers from beyond the immediate parish across the Lower Franconia region.
