Masjid Yusof Ishak is a mosque in the Woodlands district of northern Singapore, serving the local Muslim community. It is named after Yusof bin Ishak, Singapore's first president after independence, whose likeness appears on every Singapore banknote in circulation. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong announced the mosque's construction during the 2013 National Day Rally, making it one of the newer additions to Singapore's network of community mosques. The building follows contemporary Islamic architectural conventions and functions primarily as a neighborhood place of worship rather than a heritage landmark.
