Villa romana di Bussana
Viewpoint
The Nervia is a 28-kilometre coastal river in western Liguria's Riviera di Ponente. It rises on Monte Pietravecchia and threads a narrow valley past hill villages like Pigna and Dolceacqua before reaching the Mediterranean at Ventimiglia. The valley is known for olive groves and Rossese red wine, and locals swim in the clear pools upstream of Dolceacqua in summer.
