About Monaco

Monaco is a sovereign city-state on the French Riviera, bordered by France on three sides and the Mediterranean to the south. Home to around 39,000 residents within roughly two square kilometres, it is one of the most densely populated territories in the world. The principality enjoys a mild climate and a setting on the Ligurian Sea. Points of interest include the Juan Manuel Fangio Statue and the Museo della Musica. The wider region offers additional destinations such as the Gorges du Cians and the prehistoric site Abri Ligure.
