Petra Museum

The Petra Museum sits at the entrance to the Nabataean rock city of Petra, one of the most significant archaeological sites in the Middle East. Its collection spans millennia of Nabataean history — pottery, coins, jewelry, and inscriptions documenting the trading culture that flourished here from roughly the 4th century BC through the 2nd century AD. The museum is open daily, until 20:30 in summer, making it a practical first or last stop alongside exploration of the rock monuments.
