Queen Anne

The statue of Queen Anne stands in the forecourt of St Paul's Cathedral's west front, commemorating the monarch during whose reign the cathedral was completed in 1710. The current bronze figure, erected in 1886, is a replacement for Francis Bird's 1712 original, which had weathered beyond repair. Listed as a Grade II monument since 1972, it serves as a quiet landmark at the threshold of St Paul's, typically passed by visitors on their way through the west entrance.
