Richmond Congregational Church

The Richmond Congregational Church at 20 Church Street in Richmond, Vermont, was built in 1903–04 as a small-town New England interpretation of Colonial Revival architecture. Its designer, Walter R. B. Willcox, was among Vermont's most prominent architects of the era, and his hand is visible in the building's careful symmetry, white-painted wood cladding, and slender steeple. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001, the church remains an active place of worship affiliated with the United Church of Christ — still serving its congregation more than 120 years after construction.
