Sēnes Naturzentrum Haus Ternell

Haus Ternell is a nature education center and hiking trailhead on the edge of the Hertogenwald forest near Eupen, in Belgium's German-speaking community. Run by the CRIE environmental network, the visitor center offers free maps and booklets covering the region's circular hiking routes — including long-distance walks of 15–20 km toward Signal de Botrange and Eupen. The riverside trail following the nearby stream is a local favorite: even a short walk down to where the water rushes over the rocks makes the stop worthwhile. The parking lot is small and fills quickly on weekends, so an early arrival is advisable.
