Amblève

The Amblève (Amel) is a 93-kilometre river in the Belgian province of Liège, flowing as a tributary of the Ourthe before draining into the Meuse catchment. It winds through the rolling Ardennes landscape across the municipalities of Amel and Sankt Vith in East Belgium. Walking and cycling paths follow the riverbanks through quiet meadow valleys and mixed woodland, characteristic of this sparsely populated border region.
