Saint Martin of Tours Church

Saint Martin of Tours Episcopal Church is a late Gothic Revival stone church built in 1899 in Omaha's South Omaha district, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 and designated an Omaha Landmark. It holds the distinction of being the first Episcopal congregation established in South Omaha — a community settled predominantly by Catholic immigrants, which made this small Protestant outpost an outlier from its founding. Remarkably, it remains the only surviving Episcopal church in the neighborhood more than a century later. The building's carefully laid stone facade and pointed-arch windows are representative of ecclesiastical architecture in late 19th-century Nebraska.
