St. Bonifatius

St. Bonifatius is a small Roman Catholic parish church built around 1950, dedicated to Saint Boniface — the 8th-century missionary known as the Apostle of the Germans. It serves as a subsidiary church of the parish of St. Sturmius within the Diocese of Hildesheim and is listed as a protected architectural monument. Its modest postwar architecture is typical of the functional church-building programme that reshaped West Germany's ecclesiastical landscape in the early 1950s.
