The Sülzenberg is a partly forested hill of the Falkener Platte plateau in northwestern Thuringia, situated in the Wartburgkreis near the small town of Treffurt. Its southern slope drops steeply toward the Werra valley and has historically served as pasture and farmland, while the upper sections remain wooded. The summit is a designated viewpoint with open views across the Werra valley and surrounding hills — a quiet destination for walkers seeking undisturbed countryside.
