Národní památník na Vítkově
Prague
Also known as: Technisches Nationalmuseum Prag, Narodni technicke muzeum, Technisches Nationalmuseum · +1
The National Technical Museum is the Czech Republic's largest institution dedicated to preserving artefacts and information in science and technology, housed since 1941 in a functionalist building near Letná Park in Prague. Founded in 1908, its collections span aviation, rail transport, automobiles, photography, and printing — with historic locomotives and early aircraft dramatically suspended or displayed in the expansive main hall. The museum reflects Bohemia's industrial golden age, when Prague ranked among the most important manufacturing centres of the Habsburg Empire. Open Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00–18:00, with full wheelchair access and admission fee.
