About Erzurum

Erzurum is one of the largest cities in eastern Anatolia, situated at roughly 1,900 metres above sea level in northeastern Turkey. Home to nearly 770,000 people, it serves as the region's economic and cultural hub. The city is known for its harsh, snow-heavy winters and has long functioned as a key garrison town. Points of interest include the spacious Hilal Kent Parkı, the historic Hamidiye Camii, Hace Hüseyin Efendi Camii, and Kardeşler Camii, as well as the surrounding heights of Çiçek Dağı and Kuşdağı Tepesi, which define much of its landscape.
