About Jiaozuo

Jiaozuo is a large city in China's Henan Province with a population of around 3.5 million. Situated at the foot of the Taihang Mountains, the city has strong historical ties to Taijiquan — the nearby village of Chen Jiagou is widely regarded as the birthplace of this martial art. The Taiji Museum and the Chen Family Temple reflect this heritage. The city's public spaces include People's Square, Fengyihu Park, Renmin Park, Yangshao Culture Park, and the City God Temple, offering a range of cultural and recreational stops for visitors.
