1. Deutsches Polizeioldtimer-Museum Marburg
The 1st German Police Vintage Car Museum in Marburg's Wehrshausen district is the only museum in Germany dedicated exclusively to historic police vehicles. Run by the Polizei-Motorsport-Club Marburg 1990 e.V., it displays patrol cars, motorcycles, and operational vehicles spanning several decades of West German and East German police history — from the early postwar years through the 1990s. The collection illustrates how vehicle technology, equipment, and the institutional identity of German policing evolved over time. The museum is wheelchair-accessible and makes for an offbeat day trip for families and automotive history enthusiasts alike.
