A static display example of the Ilyushin Il-12, a Soviet twin-piston-engine transport aircraft developed from 1943 as a successor to the Lisunov Li-2. The Il-12 served with Aeroflot and Soviet military transport units, though its originally planned pressurized cabin was never implemented. The airframe stands today as an open-air memorial in Kalmiuske, marking the region's connection to Soviet-era aviation history.
