Ил-14

An Ilyushin Il-14, the twin-piston Soviet short-to-medium-range airliner introduced in the 1950s, is preserved here as a ground-level memorial exhibit. In its heyday the Il-14 was the workhorse regional aircraft of the Eastern Bloc, operated by Aeroflot and numerous allied state carriers across the Soviet sphere. As a static display it commemorates postwar Soviet aviation history, though detailed information about this particular installation in Yevpatoria is scarce.
