A Nabi Shu`eib

The Maqam Nabi Shuʿaib is a religious shrine dedicated to the prophet Shuʿayb, venerated in both Islam and the Druze faith, where he is traditionally identified with Jethro, the father-in-law of Moses. Shuʿayb is considered the fourteenth prophet of Islam and holds a particularly prominent place in Druze religious life. Shrines of this type — maqamat built over revered graves — are a characteristic form of devotion across the Levant, drawing pilgrims from both traditions. The site functions as a quiet place of prayer and remembrance.
